These Townhomes in Pleasanton had settled to the point that walls were cracking and coming apart. Foundation Repair of CA installed piers to lift and level a group of 6 townhomes sharing a foundation. You can see here that walls that had openings of several inches closed significantly with lift. A handyman then came in to patch and paint so the home looks as good as new.
This customer's residence is located in Pleasanton. He came to us with concerns regarding settling issues with his foundation.
Our Structural Consultant, Brett Cesarin, came to evaluate their situation. This customer's home had settling and cracking issues in the foundation and interior walls with downhill settlement over -1.5 inches in some areas and some lateral movement in the structure. Solving these issues included stabilizing and lifting the foundation walls by installing our push pier system vertically into the Earth until it hit bedrock, allowing the structure of the home to lift and stabilize, and to add additional steel where needed to support cracks in the foundation.
Our Concrete Repair Division Manager, Sam Phelps, came up with the solution for this project.
The homeowner called us because they were worried about their driveway. It was sinking and causing tripping hazards and a headache for them.
Our crew injected PolyLevel Polyurethane Foam beneath the driveway to fill a void that had previously formed from what we can only believe to be natural causes such as wash out from rain.
