Comment: We want to properly finish a basement space. There is a french drain around the exterior of the building, which seems to be doing its job at preventing any liquid water intrusion, but we'd also like a vapor control system for the walls and floor. We'd also like to explore the possibility of installing a sump pump as an added level of insurance. The basement was previously 'finished' by the previous owners, but it's a partial, poorly done job. A portion of the walls and floor have been sealed with waterproof paint, but much of it was left unfinished.

Comment: Water in the basement

Comment: We are getting ground water in our basement due to heavy rains. It is leaking mainly at the floor level adjacent to foundation wall(which has fluorescence at the joints between brick layers.) I applied Drylock after the leaking last year which worked, but it forced the water to leak through at floor level. I think your indoor French drain would solve the problem other than the florensence that is appearing higher on the wall. Do you have people in Bay Area of California?
