We have had an exceptionally wet winter. The water table in our area is extremely high. We have a finished quarter basement, approximately 300 square feet. Water is seeping through the floor of our basement. We have a sump pump but the water is coming up through the floor and it just pools on the floor not enough to trigger the sump pump. Comment: My basement flooded in the rains. It's a 6'5" deep partially finished basement. It only flooded to about a half inch, which I was able to pump out with a submersible. The history is that it has flooded in 1986, 1997, and this year. Seems to come in from where the floor slab meets the walls. There's no real low point as the floor is level.
