Job review from Dan in Mount Dora, FL 32757 on 09/02/24

Just purchased this home a few months ago. Our home was built in 1954. During the home inspection the inspector noticed an area of concern suggesting we have one of the foundation piers inspected by a professional. The LRE Foundation representative, Kurt, completed a very thorough investigation under our home via the crawl space. Kurt hand sketched and measured areas of concern and found there was a slight pitch to one corner of the house and absolutely no support under the beams of the master bathroom. Kurt also noticed there were only a couple other areas that needed an I-beam installed to support in between existing piers, noting that other areas appeared stable with no further action necessary. The crew that completed the installation of support I-beams and sprayed Timber Coat sealer were professional technicians. The crew showed me the products being used and explained the process and blueprint of installation. They also informed me that everything under the house looked good. They did not notice any wood rot, block/cement erosion, plumbing/electrical issues. The crew also provided pictures of the work completed.
