Comment: About once every couple of years after several weeks of rains, my basement will begin leak water along the floor line between the concrete slab and the block wall. The major leak is normally confined to a corner and progresses along one wall. The water level will get to about 1/8" in the corner of the basement and along the wall and I will have to use a small portable pump and garden hose to pump the water out the basement door. After this starts I also sometimes see a little evidence of water in a few other locations in other areas but no major issue. I have a home with a full basement but it is not finished, I would like to see what options you can recommend to correct the issue, possibly a sump pump system would eliminate this issue.
