Comment: We just bought an older home in O'Fallon. One of the rooms in the basement had significant wetness and moisture on the carpet floors by the walls. We ripped out the carpet and would like to waterproof this room before installing hard floors. The rest of the basement is finished and we don't seem to have any issues with moisture except for this room. We would like an assessment, recommendations, and quote. Thank you.

Comment: Need to inspect sump pump due to constant heavy flow of water into pit and the cycling of the pump ever 30-40 seconds....even 2-5 days after raining. The sump pump runs every ~40 seconds and appears to only half drain the basin, and while it's sucking up the water, the pit refills about 2/3 the way up, so that every 40 seconds the pit is refilling. Need to see; why so much water is coming in, even well after a rain storm, why the basin is filling so fast (short cycle issues), if the check valve is properly working, or if the basin is even big enough, if it is a water table, broken water line, etc. issue?
