When it comes to keeping the basement dry, a sump pump is the first line of defense. However, not all pumps are built the same and a sump pump failure can be disastrous. We know you need a sump pump you can rely on. That’s why Basement Systems’ sump pump systems are built with high-quality, cast-iron Zoeller pumps.

Comment: Hi there. I've been looking for the best possible way to waterproof and finish my basement, ive been through quite a bit so far and I still have a long way to go. One of my big concerns is my basement slab which is in bad condition, its 80 years old, not level, and has several damp spots. Its been rough trying to find information on the best way to proceed, but basically I've already replaced the entire drainage system and im waiting so see how well that does with relieving the hydrostatic pressure and im hoping that will help dry out those damp spots. I can't afford to jackhammer and replace the slab so my plan is to maybe cut in a few laterals to alleviate the dampness then go over the whole slab with epoxy. Once that is done id like to do a leveler over the epoxy (so it acts as an extra barrier) and once leveled i was thinking of using the thermal dry planks. Do you think this is a good way to proceed? One of my biggest fears is doing this basement wrong and having to redo it in the future, so I'm definately interested in an estimate in your thermal dry flooring systems.

Comment: I have a fully finished lower floor which is 3.8" below grade. Unfortunately the original contractor (prior to me purchasing the house) put wooden studs next to the concrete block and a 6 mil plastic vapor barrier over the wooden studs. As my drain tile system began to fail, these studs rotted and created mold. I am having all exterior and many interior sheet rock walls, insulation and rotten wood removed. I would like a quote on a new drain tile system, sump pump and suggestions for new wall insulation and flooring. I am ready to proceed immediately on the drain tile system and sump.
