Comment: You guys sealed some cracks in my basement. There hasn't been anymore leaks or water within my basement. Onto potentially the next step pending on price. I need quotes with 1) dehumidifier 2) insulating the basement and 3) price for finishing a portion of the basement.

Comment: We have a 100-yr old field and stone basement, with a number of potential issues we'd like looked at-bought a fixer-upper :-). Basement recently partially flooded and brought a lot to our immediate attention. We need guidance as to which are big-concerns vs. fix-soons vs. nice-to-have's, as well as what order of magnitude pricing is (we likely will have to prioritize by severity/cost). Issues include potentially installing a sump pump, evaluating the integrity of the concrete near the sump pump porthole, cracks, and mold mitigation/prevention. Really looking forward to hearing from professionals!

Comment: Have one sump pump pit with a double sump pump (one is battery backup). would like another pit installed with similar functionality.

Comment: During a power outage, such as the last two storms, more so with the 3/2 storm from all of the rain, the sump pump is unable to do its job. During the 3/2 storm, I had about 1/2 inch of water in most of the basement. Had to wait for the power to be restored before using the wet vac. There is a French drainage system but without the sump pump operating, there is no way to avoid water in the basement. I would like to know what options are available to avoid water in the basement. Could a battery be installed to the sump pump system so when the power goes out, the battery kicks on?
