Angie Simonson

Angie joined the DBS team as our Director of Marketing and Appointment Center in 2023. She came to us with a bachelor's degree in Marketing from UMD and 20+ years in marketing, including owning her own small marketing and design company for 17 years. Angie's most unique quality is that she strives to view marketing, products, and service from customers' perspectives to ensure she is giving them the information they need to feel confident choosing DBS.  What excites her most about her position is the opportunity to work with both our marketing and customer care teams, to further build our brand, and share DBS' story, mission, and values with customers. 

When Angie isn't working, you'll find her volunteering for several local groups and organizations, spending time with her family, watching her kids play baseball, writing, singing karaoke, or anything crafty. If she could have dinner with any historical person she would choose Betty White because she not only had an incredible career but she was also very philanthropic. She also said, "I love how her perceived innocence informed her comedy and I think dinner with her would be so much fun."
