A homeowner in New London, CT was getting water in their basement and was looking to get a full perimeter system. After reaching out to us at Connecticut Basement Systems, we sent out one of our Sales Consultants, Josh Kroop, to the home to check out the issues and propose a solution with our waterproofing systems.
Soon after, it would be time for one of our Foremen, Moises Chantes, and his crew to install this job. Then they installed our SuperSump Plus sump pump to pump out the collected water safely from the home. With these systems, the basement will stay dry, giving the homeowner peace of mind.
Before, this Windham home had cold, concrete floors that were uncomfortable. It was difficult for the homeowner to spend any time in his own basement. He wanted flooring that would be both warm and attractive in the area. He decided to trust the experts at Connecticut Basement Systems to get the best floor options for his basement.
The homeowner decided to have ThermalDry floor carpet installed. This product includes a thermal break from the cold slab that makes the floor surface up to 10 degrees warmer. There is a grid design which prevents water vapor from getting trapped under the floor. This will prevent odors and mold. This is exactly what the homeowner wanted and was pleased with the transformation, just look at the before and after!
