In this Danbury, CT home, the family residing in it was experiencing moisture problems that were less than pleasant. Water was leaking through the walls, causing mold and grime to form along its edges. They decided to give us a call at Basement Systems, and we were happy to come in to fix their problems!
Our expert foreman, Kryz Wilk, and his team came in, and immediately began to solve their problems. First, they installed our SuperSump waterproofing system. This sump pump includes an air tight lid that keeps out pest and debris, providing a long lasting waterproofing system that is unlikely to overheat and clog. We then installed our DryTrak wall lining to the perimeter of the basement's walls. Ground water that seeps through basement walls will flow down toward the floor, causing unsightly mold and grime. The DryTrak® drainage channel is designed to capture this water leakage before it reaches the basement floor. Best of all? Its pairs perfectly with the SuperSump, making it a perfect waterproofing solution for this home!

This Tolland basement had frequent water issues and was becoming a nuisance for the homeowner. A reoccurring problem was water piling up by the stairs. The homeowner wanted to fix the problem and decided to schedule an appointment with Connecticut Basement Systems.
The experts at Connecticut Basement Systems suggested that a WaterGuard System paired with a TrenchDrain to be installed. It would efficiently collect and drain the water outside the home. The homeowner agreed that this would be the perfect solution for his basement and scheduled a production day.
On the day of production, Marcio Bahiense and his production team installed the WaterGuard and TrenchDrain System. The WaterGuard channels the water internally and brings it to a sump pump which discharges it outside the basement. The TrenchDrain, as seen in the before and after photos, will allow water to properly drain in problematic areas and bring it to the WaterGuard System. The TrenchDrain has a unique design, made out of heavy-duty reinforced plastic, so you will not have to worry about breakage, corrosion, moisture damage, or maintenance!
The homeowner was thrilled about all the products that were installed in his home and was impressed with how well they worked together. Now he can enjoy a dry basement thanks to Connecticut Basement Systems!

This West Hartford home had water issues in their basement. The constant water was becoming a nuisance and the homeowners wanted a solution. They decided to call Connecticut Basement Systems for a free home estimate.
The solution to this problem was to install a WaterGuard System to the perimeter of the walls of the basement. This system will channel water that would have entered the home and lead it to the sump pump. From the sump pump it is dispersed through a discharge line. In addition to this system, a TrenchLock trench drain (as seen in the after photo) was installed around the stairs to block unwanted water from entering the basement.
This is exactly what the homeowners wanted and were happy to have these products installed. They now enjoy a clean, waterproofed basement.
Before, this Eastchester crawl space had an insufficient sump pump and the area was not insulated. This allowed unwanted air and moisture to enter the crawl space which made it an undesirable place in the home. The homeowners want an efficient, dry and clean crawl space. They decided to call the experts at Connecticut Basement Systems to provide a long-term solution for their crawl space.
Now, the crawl space is dry, efficient and beautiful. A SmartSump Pump was installed to discharge water seepage away from the home, keeping the crawl space dry even during the heaviest of storms. A SaniDry dehumidifier was also installed to keep humidity below 55%, keeping the air healthy. On the floors, CleanSpace moisture barrier was installed to prevent air or moisture from seeping through. It also covers up that dirt floor, so it can be used as a place for storage. Lastly, SilverGlo insulation was installed on the walls of the crawl space to keep it insulated and running efficiently. With the combination of these products, the crawl space was transformed into a beautiful, dry and efficient crawl space, just what the homeowners had hoped for!
