This old home gym was poorly lit and drab, with exposed ducts and pipes. Our team installed a mold-resistant dropped ceiling and the EverLast wall system to transform the basement into a comfortable, beautiful space to work out in.
Ceramic and vinyl basement tiles leave basement floors cold. They contain no thermal break between the concrete of your floor and your living space. Each ThermalDry Floor Tile rests on top of plastic pegs. By doing so, a thermal break is created underneath, which makes your floor's surface 8-10°F warmer than the cold concrete surface below, and they look great!
When we came into this Greenwich home, the basement was too cold to be used for anything but storage. Our ThermalDry floor tiles made the floor 8-10 degrees warmer than the concrete underneath. The owners of this home now have a warm, great-looking living space!
When this Greenwich, CT homeowner decided she wanted to refinish her basement, she knew she needed a company that would not only deliver a quality product but also complete the job on time and keep costs low. That’s why she called Total Basement Finishing for a free estimate.
Everyone wants to optimize the space in their home and, in this case, our customer had big ambitions. She wanted to re-purpose her basement as a new, multi-functional space: including a gym, a recreation room, and a bathroom.
When our representative, Vincent Orsini, spoke with the homeowner, he recommended a FULL refinishing — including plumbing and electricity. After the customer agreed, foreman Dominick Papale and his team quickly got to work. Our workers installed Total Basement Finishing’s signature EverLast walls to provide durable — and beautiful! — support around the basement’s perimeter. We also installed a new linen ceiling.
Now, this homeowner can enjoy the pleasures of a new, repurposed basement. It doesn’t look too shabby either!
A homeowner in Cos Cob, CT had an unfinished basement that they decided needed an upgrade. They called our Total Basement Finishing Team at Connecticut Basement Systems to turn their dream basement into a reality. After scheduling an appointment with us, one of our Sales Consultants, Douglas Wheeler, went out to the home to meet with the customer to determine what they would want to have done.
Then eventually it would be time for one of our Foremen, Noel Carty, and his team to work on this finishing project. They installed the EverLast perimeter wall system throughout the basement. These are made of inorganic material where no mold can grow. The team also installed ThermalDry Elite plank flooring in Walnut that will keep the floors warmer. They installed new doors as well to give a clean look throughout the whole basement. Now this homeowner in Cos Cob is thrilled with the results and can enjoy their warm, cozy basement for years to come!
