If you get water in your basement every time it rains or you have an old sump pump that can’t keep up, a new basement sump pump can help keep your basement dry. Basement Systems has tested many pumps over the years and we use Zoeller pumps because we know they work.

Moisture in the basement leads to mold growth that can damage your home, make you and your family sick, and make your basement and whole house smell musty. The solution is to remove moisture from the air. Comment: I have 2 areas that I have tried to seal in the basement. There is a crack in the foundation in 2 areas. Not big, but it is from floor to ceiling. Water does trickle through the crack. I have tried pretty much everything from epoxy sealants to waterproof patching tape. Nothing seems to be holding. With heavy rains, we have to put towels down and change them every 6-8 hours. We really need someone to come here and fix this problem. Thank you. Please call me or email me as soon as possible.

Comment: My basement (one corner in particular), occasionally gets water infiltration during heavy rain. This has previously caused mold issues in the basement when we didn't inspect it for a while. We are planning on re-finishing the basement (it is partially finished now, but not in a particularly useful configuration). Before we do so, we want to make sure that we get the water problem under control. Am looking for a quote to install a sump pump, or other recommendations for the problem. There is a small crawl space (too small to even crawl in really) adjacent to the basement - any thoughts on how to best insulate that from the basement or thoughts on adding a vapor or moisture barrier to the cinderblocks also appreciated.
