We know you need a sump pump you can rely on. That’s why Basement Systems’ sump pump systems are built with high-quality, cast-iron Zoeller pumps.

High humidity levels lead to a wide range of problems, including mold, discomfort, and worsened allergies and asthma. Comment: Hi I have been living in my first apartment for over 6 months now. I moved in in the spring and had noticed mold in my basement room back during the mid summer. There was white fuzzy product coming from the flooring which is installed over uneven floors in my basement. I then noticed dark green to black mold in my basement bathroom, corners of the walls and a strong smell. My landlord added 2 air purifiers and scrubbed the mold away from the walls. It has been 2 months and I can still smell mold in the back entrance of my basement. My landlord added a fan, the same air purifiers and keeps all the lights on down there. It has " changed " to just a strong smell coming from one area downstairs. This area is right below my bed room so I am smelling and living in mold still. There are tons of cracks that could get filled in and concrete repairs to the backyard side of the area and the inside. My landlord said he added a water pump system but it was installed incorrectly so no water gets drained. This was known before I moved in but only told to me when I noticed mold. I would like to just find the problem areas from an expert. I can figure something out from there. Ps, my landlord has told me he has no idea what to do or how to fix it.

Comment: Water comes into my basement in a couple locations on one wall when it rains (tends to only happen when there's a lot of wind as well). It usually only comes in for a short period of time so the basement does not flood. I'm more concerned about the long-term impact. Thanks!

Comment: I have a "finished" basement in my townhome but I don't think whoever finished it knew anything. Water comes in in the front and back of the house when there are periods of heavy rainfall. There is a sump pump that seems to be functioning but it is partially covered over and inaccessible. I want to stop water from coming in.
