What made you choose our company:

We moved into a home that previously had a flood in the basement due to a single sump pump failing. The water table in our neighborhood is high and there is always water entering the sump pit. The previous owner remedied the situation by installing an off the shelf product and called it a day. My basement has great potential and before investing into adding floors and drywall I wanted to ensure that I would never have a flood in the basement due to an inadequate sump installation. I did my research on battery backups and DIY kits but none of them offered me peace of mind. I found basement systems online and looked at the services they offered where. That's when I saw the Triple Safe system. It has all the features that I was looking for, 2 seperate discharge lines and 3 total pumps. I filled out the free estimate form online and in less than a week I had a service agent call me and schedule a visit for the estimate. Patrick showed up to my residence and I told him what exactly I wanted. We sat down and went through all the documentation and the advantages of the Triple Safe. My mind was already made up. I wanted the peace of mind and we made a deal. Within a week I had a date and the installation team showed up on time and they even called 30 minutes before. Nicolas and his partner were so nice and polite. They got straight to work and in less than a days work they had the new pit dug, all the ruble brought outside, the triple safe installed and all cleaned up. Nicolas explained to be all the aspects of my new installation and how each element would work. He showed me the approximate water levels that each pump would activate. Not 2 weeks after my installation, during an above 0 celsius evening with rain and heavy wet snow, a transformer blew in our neighborhood. My pump had been running once every 8 minutes that evening and we lost power around midnight. I woke up for work and realised there was no power. I got a flashlight and ran to the basement fearing the worst but to my delight everything was nice and dry. The Ultrasump battery backup had done its job overnight. There is even a handy LED light on the Ultrasump that illuminates the pit and tells you that its standing by. I had a follow up phone call with Gabriela and she was great. She wanted to see how satisfied I was with my new installation and I mentioned everything you read here. She was thrilled to hear how happy I was that we had our first 12+ hour power failure and how the Ultrasump did its job. We scheduled a service call just to clean up some residual sediment left over from the excavation and a week later David showed up. A great technician that works meticulously and neatly. He left absolutely no mess and the workspace was just a clean as when he showed up! The key takeaway here is that I wanted a system that will give me peace of mind. I wanted a system that I can trust. I want to be able to invest in finishing my basement and not have to worry about a flood ever happening. I went with the Triplesafe because I wanted redundancy. If for some reason my primary pump stops working, I have a backup thats even more powerful than the first. Even if there is no power to the house, well I have a battery backup that has and will come to the rescue. I can't recommend this system enough.
