Comment: My basement floor has over 90% humidity. I called a plumber that checked with the camera and told me my internal french drain was blocked at 20 feet and the water can,t evacuate and stays underneath my house. It also seems to be badly constructed with debris and rocks entering the drain. I am not sure if I need a sum pump to evacuate the water properly to the street. I live on a slope not far from a river (the river has never overflowed). My next door neighbour who is further down on the slope does not have any humidity problems in his basement so it is definitely the drain. I don,t know if I have an external french drain or if I need one to fix the problem.
