I initially was scheduled to have work done 12/13-12/15. Cantey called to ask if some of the work could be done on 11/26, which was fine because I had the day off. The workers got a lot done on 11/26 but asked if they could come back on 11/27 to finish the initial work, which also was fine since it was a Saturday. Early 11/27 I was contacted and told that they couldn't come that day. That too was fine since I originally had days in December scheduled. I was contacted again by Cantey on 11/29 and a voicemail informed me that the 12/13-12/15 days wouldn't work and that it would actually need to be 12/15-12/17. Luckily that same day I was contacted and told that the original days were back on. I'm giving Cantey a 3 rating because A) I'm paying a LOT of money simply to be told what days it will be rather than coordinating with me when something comes up. I get that things happen. Fortunately, my job allows for remote work, but I can't imagine any non-remote working person able to hold down a job, taking time off of work etc. while bouncing around potential days for Cantey to show up. Long story short: for the amount of money involved, Cantey needs to actually coordinate with their clients regarding rescheduling instead of simply stating, "we'll have to come on such and such days".
Darrell(sp?) and Jaylen(sp?) worked on 12/13 and 12/14. They did fantastic work installing vent covers, new crawlspace door, smartjacks, dehumidifier, sump, and moisture barrier. They kept me well informed of what was going on and it looks really good. They worked in a timely fashion both days they were at my house.
If there was a cleanup, I didn't notice because there wasn't any trash left anywhere.
Luck of the draw
