Hi The above number is my daughter's as my phone as with Apple for repair. You can easily reach me directly by email. I will be away for 10 days from Wednesday so if someone could come out to see me right away that would be most helpful. My basement has water penetration to part of it. I am interested to know the best way to deal with this but also the most cost effective. The most water that comes in is about an inch in one corner and otherwise the floor is wet in a couple other places. It is not a flood and this only seems to occur in more extreme conditions such as a lot of snow or saturated ground from a lot of rain.

Recent rains have flooded my finished basement with an avg of 1/4" of water throughout. This happened once a year ago. I do not know where the water is coming in from; the drywall prevents me from seeing the concrete. The sump pump we have is not attached to any french drains, so it does prevent the basement from flooding. Also, I'm concerned about the drywall molding, though we brought in a powerful dehumidifier.
