There are a lot of things that were great and a few things that were significant issues. Overall I assume that this will fix all our basement moisture issues which is the most important thing
I liked the sales representative a lot but we were provided incorrect information on a few things that while didn't create a big issue did end up causing some problems.
The workers were very nice and professional however in a major section of our basement when they pored the concrete over the drain tile, they pored it flush with the tiled that was installed over the concrete instead of flush with the concrete. This now has left us with a major portion of our livable space in the basement with concrete along the edge that we cannot put new tile down to repair. It was done properly in other areas so it isn't a case that it had to be done that way but was clearly an error. I don't see any solution other than having the concrete removed, living with a 1 foot border of bare concrete along the edge of the room, or laying a new floor on top of the existing tile.
The installers picked up and swept up after themselves but after days of jack hammering concrete we have concrete dust everywhere. The foreman asked us about 4 - 5 times if we wanted plastic put up in the stairway to limit the dust, which we did say we wanted, but it was never put up so we had dust everywere in the house ( all three floors ). They did cover the vents in the basement, which was nice but since they were all heat/cool returns, I am not sure that helped much.
I was given the name from a co-worker. Over all I would recommend Sure Dry because it is a good solution at an affordable cost but not without some cautionary tales.
