Basement Systems has been honored with several awards from BBB over the years, including the Business Integrity award in 1997, 1999 and 2000.
At that time, the president of BBB asked Larry to serve on their Board of Directors. Soon they asked him to be the Master of Ceremonies for the BBB awards ceremonies, which he did for three years.
Our history with the Connecticut Better Business Bureau is meaningful to us, and to the homeowners who put their trust in us.
Best Places to Work in The Hearst Connecticut Workplaces
Basement Systems is a great place to work. Just ask our employees. We were awarded as the fifth Best Places to Work in The Hearst Connecticut Workplaces for 2012, and the sixth best in 2006.
The Top Workplaces are determined based solely on employee feedback. Employees were asked for their opinions about company leadership, future goals, benefits and job satisfaction.
More specifically, they were asked to weigh company values and ethics, how appreciated they feel, their job as part of something meaningful, and job expectations. With high ratings to these items and many more, employees earned Connecticut Basement Systems a place among the top five in the small company category.
The survey is conducted by WorkplaceDynamics, LLP, a leading research firm on organizational health and employee engagement. The company has conducted programs with more than 30 major publishing partners, surveying thousands of companies and millions of employees.

Basement Systems Inducted into CT Business Hall of Fame
Basement Systems, Inc., joined the ranks of prestigious businesses and business leaders throughout the state as inductees in the Connecticut Business Hall of Fame, as part of the class of 2010. Each year, the Connecticut Business Hall of Fame recognizes business leaders throughout the state that have demonstrated a long record of successful management, expertise and business skills along with notable achievements.

The qualifications for companies to be inducted into the Business Hall of Fame include operations for 10 or more years, community involvement, and being a proven industry leader.
Basement Systems is an international network of basement waterproofing, crawl space repair and basement finishing contractors. The international headquarters, based in Seymour, Connecticut, also provides sales and service throughout Connecticut.
