2nd Annual Basement Systems Integrity Scholarship Winner Announced
Basement Systems, Inc. announces winner of its 2nd Annual Integrity Scholarship; presented to a student looking to continue their education who exemplifies honesty and hard work.
Emre Tichelaar is a first-year graduate student at the University of Houston- Clear Lake, but he’s likely more well known because of his ever-growing YouTube channel. Pursuing a Masters Degree in Business Administration- Entrepreneurship and Marketing, Emre has had a passion for business and marketing from a young age.
As a kid, Emre Tichelaar spent a lot of time creating videos, either channeling his inner pop-star or acting as a news anchor. Emre always found a fun, creative way to produce engaging content, leading to his passion for marketing and the start of his own YouTube channel in 2016.
Basement Systems, Inc. of Seymour, CT, a company dedicated to educating and improving its home repair systems for homeowners, is honored to present Tichelaar the 2nd Annual Integrity Scholarship. Emre’s persistence, creativity, and transparency through his online branded content is in line with the way Basement Systems, Inc. goes about business every day.
To Emre, integrity means “having a set of values and sticking to them.” Emre expresses the importance of being transparent with your customers and sticking to a set of values for your business. “Fake integrity is no integrity at all,” Emre says. With this award, Emre looks to alleviate some of the financial burden higher education brings so he can fully focus on improving his academic self and graduate with his Masters Degree in 2022.
