4th Annual Basement Systems Integrity Scholarship Winner Announced
Basement Systems, Inc. announces winner of its 4th Annual Integrity Scholarship, awarded to a student who demonstrates honesty, transparency, and hard work.

For Ethan Mulberg, integrity can be best exemplified by the ultimatum his father was given 15 years ago- financial stability or honesty. His father, choosing honesty over job security, sacrificed losing everything his family of five had as the country faced the worst financial crisis of the 21st century. This pushed Ethan’s father to start a small business of his own, and for Ethan to study business management.
As he approaches his third year at Western Governors University, Ethan strives to assist small businesses like his father’s so that our communities remain strong with trustworthy and ambitious business owners. Ethan related his drive to help small businesses grow and succeed to Basement Systems founder and CEO, Larry Janesky, saying he’d like to help businesses “financially waterproof” themselves.
Ethan’s commitment to honest business practices and helping entrepreneurs thrive in their communities is what made Basement Systems, Inc. choose him as this year’s Integrity Scholarship winner. Each year, the Integrity Scholarship is awarded to one student looking to further their education who exemplifies core values like honesty and hard work.
“Honesty and integrity go hand-in-hand when starting your own business,” Janesky stated. “It’s great to see young men like Ethan take pride in helping entrepreneurs succeed.”
