Comment: There is standing water on top of the vapor barrier in the basement crawl space of a home we are about to purchase. The owners were supposed to fix this prior to settlement and did not. We are supposed to close on Monday and need a rough estimate to ask for cash at closing. I have pictures and videos. Crawl space dimensions are 862 square feet. There is already one sump pump in the crawl space. Ground is dirt under the vapor barrier (which does not cover the entire floor of the crawl space).
