Thanks for all of your assistance in making this a painless project!  We had a plumbing failure that flooded the space...had we gone with another company, about 20-30% of what we had just had built in the basement would have been wasted and needed to have been redone, and instead, no big deal.  And give thanks for choosing CT Basement Systems products over regular wood and dry wall!

Dear Bill, The work was completed this morning, with the exception of the new electrical panel that Joe will put in for us tomorrow morning.  I just want to tell you that we have only the highest praise for Rich and the entire crew.  Everything was done with such fine craftsmanship and expertise, let alone neatness and total attention to every detail.  We are truly thrilled with the transformation of our former "dungeon" to a beautiful and extremely useful room.  Even the areas outside of the room are so much more user-friendly now, and we are so pleased that the backs of the walls they installed are of the same beautiful material as the inside.  So.....thank you for all the time, thoughtfulness and work you put into the planning and details.  It was a great success.  Our final inspection(s) will take place the morning of Dec. 31st.  I wish you and all of "the guys" a very merry Christmas and a Happy and Healthy New Year.

Hi Dear Friends at Total Basement Finishing, We are still sitting with smiles on our faces, as we are enjoying our new basement.  It is beautiful, and all of our friends are absolutely amazed.  The walls are so much more attractive than wall board.  They are warm and inviting and the whole look is so professionally done - right down to the finishing touches of molding and even the insides of the closet.   Most of all, we can't express how pleasant it was to work with you folks.  Production Manager, Rob Card - you are a gem - an advocate for your company and your customer.  We so appreciated working things out with you.  You have a wonderful, even temperment, and we will never forget your kindness and patience or the day you said, "What would you like to see?  What would you like us to do? " All of your teams were like having family in our home -  really pleasant, respectful, and fun.  They too were great to work with.  We enjoyed and appreciated Rich and Bill.   Thank you so much for a job well done!  Thank you for your total interest and follow through in all areas. Except for the electric and heat, my basement is finished.  It looks wonderful! I wanted to let you know that the two young men who worked here, Micah Smith and Robert Stevenson, couldn't have been nicer.  They treated me, and everything in my house, with respect. They were polite and courteous.  They always cleaned up before leaving and left everything as they found it in the morning.  I'm not sure I've ever seen such very hard workers.  Other than a quick break for lunch, they worked steadily from the time they arrived until they left.  They were occasionally here 9 or 10 hours - not counting the hour commute each way.  The work they did was exceptional.  I appreciated how particular they were and the pride they took in what they did.  They certainly worked well as a team and obviously enjoyed working together.  I would recommend them anytime without hesitation.   You should be proud to have them represent your company.  I think, if my experience is anything to go by, Micah and Rob will be very successful in life.   I will be in touch with you tomorrow morning to find out when Joe will be here to finish up and also to finalize payment.  I'd appreciate it if you would pass this letter on to anyone you feel should see it.   Thanks so much,    Sherry

We got our door this morning -- the last step of this project! Very happy with everything. The guys were great. Looks great. I have finished painting everything already. I will be doing the floor this weekend. Once I’m done, I will send you a picture of everything. Thanks for everything. I actually was sad when it was all over as I had fun throughout the install process. 

Viktor has been doing a basement refinishing for me for the past five days.  I wanted you to know that I have never had a harder working or more delightful person working for me.  He was here shortly after 7:00 each day, came in with a smile and worked solidly until it was time to leave late afternoon.  He was quiet, unobtrusive and completely respectful of me and of my home.  He explained things well to me, listened if I had a question and always explained things so that I understood them.  He took great care with his work, and I appreciated his attention to detail.  The room he built for me is beautiful!  And I was very aware of the pride he took in his work. I would recommend Viktor without hesitation.  It was a pleasure having such a nice person in the house, and I couldn't have asked for a better worker.    

We asked John from Storrs, CT about the basement finishing job we did for him.  He stated that he was very satisfied, and that our office staff was both great to deal with and very competent.

It was a really nice process because the crew was very thorough. They were very clean, they cleaned up before they left every night. They worked very hard. Those guys worked 10-12 hours a day, I was impressed with their professionalism. It was amazing that the whole thing was done within a week - Like move-in ready within a week.

I am taking the time to express to you my appreciation of the quality of work that your crew has done. As an electrical contractor for more than 30 years I have had the opportunity to work with numerous crews from different companies. I have always prided myself in the quality of work that I do. It is rare, when I work with a crew that works as though they were working in their own home, taking pride in their craft and not just getting the job done. The professionalism and quality of work that Wayne Miller, Jacoby Sockmell, Sheldon Lennon, and Kevor Barnett have displayed on this job needs to be noticed and commended. It was truly a pleasure to work with such professional craftsmen.

Kevon and Chavon finished up my basement yesterday and they left a little card and I wanted to say how thoughtful that was. I really enjoyed them here and they did great work. They are making the reputation of Connecticut Basement Systems even that much better.   

I felt compelled to drop you a note to point out my pleasure with CT Basement Systems and moreover, in my opinion, your best resource at the company- Jason Wood.    You and I talked a couple times in the past about our basement waterproofing situation. As we discussed, our property was not a "cookie cutter" scenario in terms of water table, front yard frontage, ledge, or ideal drainage conditions.  Although the initial basement waterproofing installation had some lingering "issues," I wanted to let you know that we recently hired Foundation Supportworks to address a footing issue which existed with our dining room.  The reason why we chose Foundation Supportworks over other competitors was very simple- Jason Wood.  Let me digress.   When we had some issues with our basement waterproofing installation, Jason came to the house to assess the situation.  From the moment he arrived, he treated my wife and I with utmost courteousness and respect, in addition to answering all of our questions, and left us feeling totally confident in his abilities to diagnose the issues at the time.  He let us know (through his actions) that CT Basement Systems was a reputable company that stood behind their products, patents and service guarantees.  His patience with a tricky installation/discharge situation was top notch.  Recently, I shared with Jason some of the history of the property and related drainage, including pictures and leak points when we first moved into the house.  To my satisfaction, Jason was able to pinpoint the cause of the most recent issue and come up with a viable solution to address it.  His experience in the field is unparalleled, and he brings a wealth of information to the table.  In addition, Jason is personable, professional and very kind hearted.  He does the right things for the customer and in this day and age of seemingly lengthy customer service "lip service," his approach is refreshing.  When Jason is in the loop, customers can feel that things will be taken care of properly and professionally.  Moreover, Jason always came when he said he would, always returned phone calls and always did the right thing for us, the customer.  He is a straight shooter and is always welcome at our house!   I have utmost confidence that his solution will put the lingering issue to rest and am excited to have it completed in mid-April. Hence, when the issue of our footing surfaced, and Jason noticed something was off, he told me about Foundation Supportworks and what they do.  Shortly after, I called Steve at Foundation Supportworks, who came to the house to further educate us about a job which they will be starting next week.  Again, I am confident that I chose the best company for the job and the work will be backed by a reputable company.  If not for Jason, I would have been unaware of Foundation Supportworks and not have associated their reputation with CT Basement Systems.   Summarily, although our initial installation did not go according to plan, Jason Wood's approach to it was excellent.  He not only saved the account, but also made me choose add on work from another division.  I would continue to recommend CT Basement Systems to everyone I know.  I trust that my experience with Foundation Supportworks will be equally good.   I hope that you recognize Jason for the asset he is to the company.  He is truly refreshing, a pleasure to deal with and has great customer service skills.  Kudos to him.
