David W. of Swansea, IL was looking to waterproof and insulate his crawl space. Our system design specialist, John S., recommended a SmartSump, SmartSump and CleanSpace Vapor Barrier for waterproofing purposes. The CleanSpace lines the crawl space and keeps out moisture, where the SmartSump and SmartPipe work to redirect and pump water out of the crawl space. Our foreman Jose L. and his crew installed these systems, along with a SilverGlo Wall Insulation System. SilverGlo keeps the crawl space and floors above warmer, yet dry, in the winter, saving David money on energy and heating bills.  

Thomas and Karen R. of Edwardsville, IL were looking for a way to prevent moisture from entering their crawl space. Our system design specialist, Randy P., knew that a CleanSpace Vapor Barrier would be a great way to keep out water and water vapor. Not only does the CleanSpace Barrier prevent moisture and mold, ultimately preventing structure damage, but also blocks harmful gasses from entering up though the soil. Our foreman Jose L. and his crew installed this system and turned a damp, messy crawlspace into a dry and clean one, improving overall air quality and energy efficiency for Karen and Thomas.

In the before and after photos, you can see that this homeowner in Mahomet, Illinois tried to waterproof their basement walls using a DIY method. In the before photo, you can see black paint on the basement walls. Water continued to seep into the basement, so the homeowner called us. By installing a perimeter waterproofing system and the CleanSpace® Wall System, we kept this basement dry at all times.

Moisture was entering a crawlspace in Bismarck, MO causing condensation to form on the air vents and make the crawlspace humid. To solve this issue, the CleanSpace crawlspace encapsulation system was installed. This liner completely isolates the crawlspace from the earth. This dramatically reduces the humidity level in the air, which will eliminate mold growth and rot from the crawlspace and make the whole house healthier. The bright white finished side will brighten the crawlspace and allows one to easily see that the crawlspace is free of mold, insects, and dirt. This crawlspace will remain clean and dry for years to come!
