Our basement has been very dry for the many years that we have lived in our home but these recent rains convince me to get a professional to properly correct the situation. With a simple phone call, HomeSpec gave me a quote based on the number of rod holes needing repair which was very reasonable and competitive. They showed up to do the work today (just a few days after my phone quote, I had been waiting on another company for over a month). Travis, the HomeSpec person who did the work was very thorough and accommodating to my wishes. He did not rush through the job as most contractors do just to move on to their next appointment. They informed of us everything they were doing every step of the way. We chose Ayers because out of 3 estimates, Ken was the only one who actually took the time to look and explain in depth what was needed. He answered all of my questions and we knew we were in good hands by the way he spoke with such knowledge and such confidence that the uneasiness of having the work done had left. The book that was sent to me was awesome! I read the entire book front to back! It helped me with my other estimates. I knew what questions to ask and what the answers should be concerning.   "We had Hollis come to our lake house for a possible mold problem in our crawlspace. No problem there but he left a packet with us, which included info about sunhouses. We thought that sounded good for our house in town, and it is! We liked the way Hollis explained things. Of course it sure helped that he is a Purdue Graduate! We really appreciated his honesty in telling us that nothing needed to be done at the lake house. My husband was VERY impressed with Dave, the man who installed our sunhouses.
