Job review from Cheri in Minneapolis, MN 55410 on 01/03/14

So far, so good. Of course I don't know how things actually work yet, since I'm waiting until spring for the outside drainage line.

It was nice to have someone actually answer the phone and be courteous and helpful.

I had had a couple of estimates already from other companies, but Jason was the first person who walked around the basement, touched the walls, looked into hidden corners, and explained what he was looking for and what he could see. He was here a long time talking through the project (and talking about books and other subjects), seemed honest with me about the quality of equipment my situation called for. I didn't feel pressured or that he was trying to upsell. Later I received an unsolicited bid in the mail from another salesperson at your company for a fancier sump pump, and I did not appreciate it, especially since it came with no cover letter, so a less watchful consumer could have easily been misled into signing and returning it, thinking it was part of the project agreed upon. When I added radon mitigation to the project, Jason took care of that. There was a little confusion about pricing, but he stepped right up and took responsibility for the confusion and settled it to my satisfaction. I also have to say that I was a bit intimidated by the volume of material I received in the mail before the sales appointment and was inclined to think the solution more than I needed, but Jason put that into perspective.

Cody and crew are intrepid workers! I grew up with hard-working parents and a strong work ethic, so I'm always pleased when I encounter people who share that. They pushed ahead with the work without delays and without any inconvenience to me and the rest of the house. Cody was willing to show me the progress, although I was ready to trust them and not interfere or be demanding. On New Year's Eve they worked until 9 p.m. finishing the drainage job! And then Cody returned with the radon crew on Thursday.

They did not leave a mess behind, and I am comfortable entering the basement. My only reservation is that in one small section of the line across the floor, the cement has settled a bit, leaving a ridge in a place where it can easily be tripped over. I would like Cody to take a look at that when he comes back in the spring to put in the outside drain.
