Comment: Hello: I live in Katy on a pier and beam constructed home and was impacted by Hurricane Harvey. My pier and beam construction is bricked in with vents that are ~2 feet above the ground level. When the water level rose, water poured through the vents and went under the house. I have managed to drain all the water out and am in the process of remediating the crawl space. I've gotten all the standing water out, had blowers moving air for the past two weeks and recent spread lime around the bottom to help soak up the moisture. I've also had some trenches dug to sump pumps to help pump the water out in the event this ever happens. Unforunately during the rain last night while I was under the house I discovred an area where water is leaking in from outside. I am at a point now where I can no longer do the rest of the work myself and am looking for some professionals help me finis the job. I am looking for someone to come out and evaluate the situation and provide an estimate for the following: 1) Complete trenching around the inside perimeter of home and install sump pump 2) Fix the leak that is causing water to come in from under the house 3) Provide an estimate for vent covers 4) Provide an estimate for a dehumidified 5) Seal the crawl space access point
