What's your favorite thing about your job?

I love problem-solving and determining the best solution to help homeowners make their homes more healthy, comfortable, durable, and energy-efficient.

I love being part of a company and team with an outstanding reputation and great moral values.

I love spending time and doing things with my wife and 2 boys. I also enjoy offshore, freshwater, and river fishing.

The insulation currently in the attic does not fill the floor joists nor does it offer enough R-value to resist the transmission of heat from the attic to the rooms below or the loss of conditioned air from the living space to the attic.
The white spots on the wood are microbial growth. Sometimes you'll see black or brownish spots as well. This growth occurs on organic material when temperatures are warm and the relative humidity is about 60% or higher.
Many of the crawl space floor joists were covered with mold and mildew growth. This can occur on any organic materials when the relative humidity reaches over 60% during warmer temperatures. Musty odors and mold spores can find their way up into the home and irritate those with allergies and asthma.
Some areas of the attic had very little insulation, below an R-19, while others did reach in an R-19. This is typically a result of the insulation settling over time.
Old blown-in fiberglass insulation and fiberglass bats sparsely cover the ceiling.
