Comment: We have very high humidity (70-80%) in our recessed downstairs room (on top of foundation and adjacent to crawlspace.) The crawlspace is generally high in humidity too, though I have been unsuccessful in determining where the moisture is entering. We are very interested in having a dehumidification system installed in the crawlspace (it's approximately 3' tall in there, large and L shaped.)

I've installed a dehumidifier, a vent fan, and insulated existing vents. The space has improved significantly, however, humidity levels remain high. This summer there is a large amount of condensation and moister/mildew beginning to show up. I would like to insulate and protect the framing, stop mildew, and make the space suitable for storage.
