A Before and After of a Crawl Space transformation we did in Shingle Springs. The homeowner had been complaining of pooling water in their crawl space. First we installed our CleanSpace Moisture Barrier to kept the ground, the support posts, and the foundation dry from storm water that had been sneaking it's way into the crawl space. Second, we installed our SmartSump Sump Pump to collect the water and send it into the backyard of the home, where it belongs.
This customer, located in Ione, CA, came to us with concerns about his back patio sinking and being uneven.
Our Concrete Repair Division Manager, Sam Phelps, came to evaluate their situation. The patio was sinking and also had a couple tripping hazards. By injecting our PolyLevel Foam, which lifts and stabilizes sinking concrete slabs with a high-density polyurethane formula, we were able to lift and level the patio.
A naked crawl space leaves it open to water damage and foul odors caused by rain or an unfortunate plumbing leak. With the installation of our CleanSpace Liner, you can dress your crawl space up real nicely and save yourself from the problems that can be caused from water intrusion.

As you can see in the "Before" photo, the home was experiencing Foundation Settlement, thus the very large crack. Foundation Settlement happens when the soil beneath the home moves, and in the case of this home, the soil beneath it was taking a large portion of the foundation along for the ride (Imagine how a bone in the human body breaks and that is what is happening to any home that experiences Settlement).
88 linear feet of the existing foundation were removed and replaced. Look at the beautiful job our crew did. You never would have known that the foundation was on the brink of falling apart.
