It's even worse once you discover it is slowly sinking into soil that is not properly compacted and the damage could be incalculable.   So when you have a foreman like Curtis whose crew member told me personally "Curtis demands perfection on every pier we do, he won't let it happen any other way", I can tell you the value of that approach, when you've gone through what we've gone through for several years, is beyond words.   So thank you Curtis!
