Cracks in Foundation Wall in Concord, CA
A horizontal crack along in the middle of a raised foundation had the homeowner concerned. Our crew applied our CarbonArmor System to the crack which includes flexible carbon fiber fabric straps that are up to 10 times stronger in tension than steel. This will repair and reinforce the area of the crack.

Christina S. living in Concord learned when a NorCal Specialist reported that there were cracks in the walls of her foundation and that her floor system was not properly secured to her foundation.
Christina was told by the Specialist that she needed her house’s floor system to be secured to her foundation in order to prevent any damage to the rest of the house. She asked how she could fix it and the Specialist said the cracks in the foundation could be stabilized with CarbonArmor. It was suggested that the house be stabilized and secured to the foundation using UFP plates along the perimeter of the foundation.

Sloping Floors From Termites Fixed With Smart Jacks in Concord, CA
Debra F. of Concord CA, noticed that her floors were sloping due to termites eating away at her wooden support piers in her crawlspace. She decided to hop online to see if there was anything she could do before the damage got any worse. That’s when she found NorCal Foundation Support. She immediately called and scheduled for an inspector to come out and take a look at what she was dealing with.
The Specialist from NorCal Foundation Support saw the damage in the crawlspace, and suggested a SmartJack system that would permanently stabilize the foundation of her home and keep her floors from sinking any further. These SmartJacks stabilize the floors, just like the existing wood footings that were there, but are more permanent because bugs can’t eat through galvanized steel piers! The existing wood beams were fixed so that they weren’t crooked, and a couple were replaced due to too much termite damage. The SmartJacks were placed where the existing footings were to properly stabilize the home.
Debra is very pleased with the work that NorCal Foundation Support provided for her, and she can enjoy her home without having to worry about her floors sinking further!

Our design specialist came out and found that the old jacks under his house were bending and rusting. John was informed that his floors could be stabilized with a replacement of the rusting jacks with smart jacks which would address his concerns with the floors. John agreed that the smart jacks sounded exactly like what he needed and would be an ideal solution.
