Dan and Diane L. recently moved into their Melbourne, Florida home and immediately wanted their sunken and unlevel driveway repaired. Having experienced a broken bone from a previous trip hazard, these homeowners did not want to endure that again. LRE completed an inspection of the home, noting that buried tree roots were mainly to blame for their broken driveway. LRE was able to lift and re-level the affected areas of the driveway using PolyLevel, a two-part expanding foam material that is injected underneath the concrete slab. This material flows easily through soils, filling voids and expanding to lift the concrete back in place. Once the project was complete, these homeowners were thrilled to have the peace of mind they were looking for and tripping hazards removed.
Erika B. from Melbourne, Florida owns a century-old historic home. She noticed that the floors were sagging and squeaking when she walked on them. To get a permanent solution, she contacted LRE Foundation Repair for a free inspection. After the inspection, LRE found out that the existing support columns in the crawl space of her home had settled, and the wood joists had deteriorated, causing the floors to sag. To solve the problem, LRE's Design Specialist recommended the installation of SmartJack, a galvanized steel system designed to stabilize the floor joists in the crawl space. The SmartJack system was installed throughout the crawl space, and it permanently lifted and re-leveled the floors of the house. After the job was completed, Erika was extremely pleased with the results.
Ken A. of Brandon, Florida started noticing his concrete walkway sinking and the joints forming larger gaps. He could visibly see a void under one section of his sidewalk and decided he wanted the whole sidewalk repaired before it could get any worse. He called LRE Foundation Repair, who immediately came out to complete the inspection. The sidewalk was located near a boat dock and body of water, and erosion was washing soils away, compromising the concrete's stability. LRE remedied this problem using PolyLevel, an expanding foam material injected underneath the concrete walkway. This material expands to fill voids in the soils below while adding stability. LRE finished the project by sealing and protecting the concrete joints using NexusPro. This silicone-based sealant protects the walkway from any future damage, achieving the goals of this happy homeowner.
Chrisanne S. of Brandon, Florida had growing concerns as water started intruding into her home during heavy rains. She called LRE Foundation Repair to assess the damage and design the solution. LRE installed a drainage solution that would divert water away from her foundation. LRE installed hard pipe underground, EZ Flow materials, and pop-up drains to complete this customized system. Once completed, this homeowner was able to rest easy knowing no further water would enter or damage her home.
David’s yard around his home in Valrico, Florida would constantly flood during the heavy Florida thunderstorms. Ready to put these concerns to rest, he reached out to us at LRE Foundation Repair to help provide him with a lasting solution. Following a free inspection of David’s property, it was discovered the downspouts connected to the home’s gutter system had been flooding the surrounding areas due to a lack of adequate water diversion. To remedy this the downspouts were connected to a new underground EZ Flow French drain system that was installed by our production team. The water from the gutters will now be channeled directly to the underground drainage pipe system and out to a pop-up relief drain away from the home. David’s flooding issues are now effectively resolved, putting his concerns to rest once and for all.
