A homeowner in Springfield, GA had major concerns about moisture in their crawlspace. The insulation in the crawlspace had become a problem, soaking up moisture from the air and holding it against the wooden floor, accelerating the presence of potential mold and wood rot. This home in Register, GA had an issue with moisture in their crawlspace deteriorating the wood foundation of the home, causing the floor to start to become unlevel. The inspector recommended an encapsulation of the crawlspace to protect from moisture and SmartJack crawlspace support posts to resupport the unlevel floor. The homeowner decided to have the encapsulation done and get the support posts at a later date in the future. They were very satisfied with the results of the encapsulation.

Denise and Ben C. of Hawkinsville, GA had water in their crawl space. Both Denise and Ben were concerned about mold under the home, especially since Denise had health issues. The inspector noted standing water on the floor. Using a hydrometer the relative humidity was measured and recorded at 86 percent. Microbial growth was evident on joists and wet insulation rested against the wooden subfloor. A Complete CleanSpace Encapsulation System was installed to seal the crawl space from the earth to reduce moisture and humidity. After a few days, the Complete CleanSpace Encapsulation System created a hostile environment for mold to grow. The owners were thrilled, the problem was fixed!
