Water was coming down the walls of a basement in Murphysboro, IL, causing damage. To solve this issue, the CleanSpace Basement Wall System was installed. This will prevent water vapor from permeating the basement walls and drain any leaks down to the WaterGuard System. These drainage pipes intercept water at the perimeter of the basement and drain it toward the TripleSafe Sump Pump System, which will drain water from WaterGuard and below the basement and discharge it out of the house. This system also includes an UltraSump battery backup system, which turns on if the power goes out and effectively pumps out the water. Thanks to these systems, this basement will remain dry and clean for years to come!

This combination concrete block and poured foundation in Worden, Illinois leaked with almost every rain. The hollow, concrete blocks would fill up with water, and groundwater would seep through at the mortar joints as well as the joint where the block wall rested on the poured wall.
Woods Basement Systems repaired the wall by first drilling small "weep holes" every few feet in the bottom row of concrete block to alleviate the hydrostatic pressure inside and against the block wall. To drain the leaky block wall, the crew fastened the BrightWall basement wall system to the basement walls, draining any wall leaks into the WaterGuard perimeter drainage system—where it could then be pumped out and away from the basement.
