This basement block foundation was leaking into the basement at several different points along the perimeter. The waterguard accepts water leaking into the basement from below the basement floor, under the basement wall and footing and water draining down the block wall. The Waterguard basement waterproofing system is a one piece pipe that directs the water flooding this basement straight to the sump pump and keeps the basement floor dry.
The waterproofing system in this basement could not keep up with the amount of incoming water during heavy rains. The resident was tired of dealing with a wet basement, so Woods Basement Systems replaced the old waterproofing system with WaterGuard to permanently waterproof the basement.

Ken W. had an alarming amount of water coming into the basement of his Edwardsville, IL home whenever there was a heavy rain. He contacted Woods Basement Systems to help him with his water problem. Woods suggested installing a waterproofing system.
As part of the waterproofing system, Woods installed WaterGuard. WaterGuard is a drainage system that is installed under the concrete floors of the basement and sits on top the the footing of the foundation against the walls, out of the way of any mud that might clog the system. It collects water that leaks into the basement from the walls and floors and drains it to the sump pump.
Ken W. is happy knowing his belongings and basement are safe from water whenever bad weather hits.
