A sidewalk in Edwardsville, IL, was sinking and unleveled. This needed to be addressed, so the homeowner decided to give Woods a call. To solve this issue, PolyLevel™ was used. This system works by injecting a polyurethane foam underneath the concrete where it will expand, lifting the concrete slabs up to level them out. With this system in place, the homeowner can rest assured that their concrete is in great shape!

Water ruins carpet, drywall, electronics, and just about anything else that would be present in a finished basement. Repairs are time consuming and cost thousands, which is why it is essential to waterproof a space BEFORE finishing it. This Maryville, Illinois homeowner did the smart thing and called Woods Basement Systems to fix his leaking basement walls before he began finishing. A Woods team installed WaterGuard drains underneath the floor at the base of the walls to catch any and all water.
This Chesterfield, Missouri basement has leaks that leave the basement floor covered with water. In the before picture we see an entry point for water. WaterGuard was installed in this home which is a unique waterproofing system in that it sits on the footing of the home's foundation rather than in the mud which prevents the WaterGuard from clogging with mud. (please note that the concrete in the after picture had not had time to cure prior to the taking of the picture)
WaterGuard was installed in this Chesterfiled basement under the concrete at the most common point of entry, around the basement perimeter, which then drains excess water into the sump and helps to keep the basement dry.
