Bradford R. had to clean up messes from water seeping into the basement of his Mattoon, IL home every time it rained. Water damage had made his foundation walls and floors an eyesore and created the perfect environment for mold so he called Woods Basement Systems. Woods recommended installing a basement waterproofing system.

Woods installed a Twin Pack as part of the waterproofing system. The Twin Pack contains two high powered cast-iron pumps that will keep the basement dry by pumping encroaching water out and away from the basement, even in heavy downpours.

WaterGuard was installed as part of the waterproofing system. WaterGuard is a drainage system that is installed under the concrete floors along the perimeter of the basement, as seen in the pictures. It has a wall flange that collects water from the foundation walls and holes to catch the water coming in at the wall joints. It sits on top of the concrete footing of the home so it won’t become clogged with mud as it drains the unwanted water away to the sump pump for removal.

Foreman, donald A installed the products. The Twin Pack sump pump includes two stainless steel pumps for double protection. Waterguard collects water that seeps through cracks and guides it to the sump pump where it can be removed from the home. IceGuard is placed on the outside of the home and allows water to expel from the guards if pipes happen to clog or freeze.

Now Stan S. has a dry garage.

The TripleSafe sump pump is guaranteed to to keep your home dry with its three-in-one design that includes a primary pump, a secondary pump, and a battery-powered backup pump. WaterGuard is installed in the perimeter of the basement floor and it works to collect water that seeps through the walls. It then guides that water to the sump pump where it can be fully removed from the house. 

Now Meri S. has a watertight basement. 

This Mattoon, Illinois basement was ravaged with leaks during extended periods of rain. It seemed that at least once a month, the basement would fill with nearly a quarter-inch of water, requiring constant cleanup. In order to waterproof this space, a Woods Basement Systems team installed a WaterGuard drainage system. These gutter-like drains are place underneath the floor at the base of the leaking walls to catch any and all water.
