Mount Vernon, Illinois homeowners Seth and Megan F. were troubled with water leaking into their basement. System design specialist Jake K. designed a solution to keep their basement dry.

It provides water with an exit in the even that the lines become frozen during those cold midwest winters. Seth and Megan are thrilled to know their basement will stay dry all the time.
Murali K. of Mount Vernon, IL noticed water seeping into the basement and soaking the carpet. After removing some drywall and the skirting board, he found cracks in his foundation. Water was leaking in through the cracks, as well as through the joint between the foundation walls and floors, which had begun to rot the dry wall and woods frames, especially the lower half so they called Woods Basement Systems. Woods recommended installing a basement waterproofing system.
Woods installed the WaterGuard drainage system under the cement floors along the perimeter of the basement. WaterGuard features wall flanges as well as channel holes so it can collect water to from the foundation walls and floors of the basement and drain it to the sump pump for removal. Other systems sit either along the concrete footing or on the exterior of the foundation and are notorious for getting clogged by mud and plant roots. WaterGuard sits on top of the concrete footing, away from any mud or debris that might clog it.
Hidden leaks behind finished walls can be a nightmare. Murali K. of Mount Vernon, IL found out the hard way as hidden leaks from cracks in the foundation, as well as the joint between the walls and floors, damaged the dry wall and wood frame above and soaked the carpet. He didn’t want to deal with any more damage so he called Woods Basement Systems. Woods recommended installing a basement waterproofing system.
Woods installed CleanSpace over the cracked, leaky walls. CleanSpace is a thick and durable plastic moisture barrier that prevents water from seeping into the basement through the foundation walls. It directs any moisture down to the perimeter drainage system below for removal. CleanSpace has an additive called UltraFresh that ensures the mold cannot grow on its surface.
Mike G. of Mount Vernon, Illinois needed a new sump pump, so he called Woods Basement Systems for a solution. Systems design specialist, Luke B. recommended installing a TripleSafe sump pump and WaterGuard.
Foreman, Donald A. installed the products. The TripleSafe sump pump works to protect your home with a primary pump, a secondary pump, and a battery-powered backup pump, so there should be no worries of the pump failing. WaterGuard is installed in the perimeter of the basement floor and it collects water that has seeped through the basement walls. It then guides that water to the sump pump to be pumped out and away from the home.
Now Mike G. has a working sump pump.
