This Bunker Hill, Illinois homeowner was tired of dealing with water in her basement. It would regularly stream down the walls during periods of heavy rainfall and pool on the floor, requiring constant cleanup. In order to solve this problem, a Woods Basement Systems team installed under-floor WaterGuard drains at the base of the leaking walls to catch any water and prevent it from making it onto the floor.

Water was coming down the walls in a basement in Bunker Hill, IL, and the sump pump was not pumping this water out correctly. To solve these issues, the BrightWall Paneling System was first installed. This bright, clean, and durable wall system will prevent water vapor from permeating the basement walls and will drain any wall leaks to the WaterGuard System. This perimeter drainage system will catch wall seepage and drain it toward the TripleSafe Sump Pump System, which will drain water from WaterGuard and below the basement and discharge it out of the house. This system also includes an UltraSump battery backup system, which turns on if the power goes out and effectively pumps out the water. Next, the IceGuard Sump Pump Discharge System was installed. The patented design of this system automatically allows water to escape through its perforations when pipe terminations are blocked, usually by ice or snow. Lastly, a LawnScape Outlet was installed. This connects the discharge lines to a special extension sending water away from the foundation while camouflaging the end of the pipe. Thanks to these systems, this basement will remain dry and clean for years to come!

A foundation was cracking in Saint Libory, IL. Water was leaking from these cracks and causing mold to grow. To solve these issues, the PowerBrace System was first installed. This will permanently stabilize the foundation and eliminate any further inward movement. This will also reverse the effects of wall failure, straightening the walls to their original position and closing the cracks to prevent water leakage. Foreman Greg and his crew installed the the CleanSpace with Drainage Matting, SilverGlo, and SmartSump in the crawl space featured here. 

The Drainage Matting is under the CleanSpace. It gives the water vapor that seeps in a surface to collect on and direct to the SmartSump. The CleanSpace keeps all the water vapor out of the crawl space environment while providing a brighter, cleaner surface. 

The SmartSump will make sure any water collected gets removed from the space and away from the home. 

Lucia can now use her crawl space for storage and not be afraid when she needs to go into the space.
