We built our home nearly a year ago. Our basement is unfinished but we do have a few walls separating rooms. we setup our family room downstairs so we spend our evenings there watching tv. I noticed, even though we had our air conditioner on, it still felt damp down there and smelled musty. When the Sani-Dry was installed, I noticed several changes. It no longer felt damp and smelled fresher not musty. It also felt cooler therefore I was able to turn the thermostat up more than usual. I have allergies and use to take a lot of allergy pills. After the Sani-Dry was installed, I noticed I was taking less allergy pills. We have a pool table in our basement and I'm sure the dampness wasn't good for it. Now I don't have to worry about the dampness damaging the wood on the pool table. I feel the Sani-Dry has been a good investment.
