This customer had a problem with water getting into her basement and causing mold to grow, making it difficult for her to use the space for her quilting projects. The water was seeping in through the walls and damaging the drywall too. To tix these issues we used a combination of different methods. First, our team removed all the damaged drywall and installed something called Cleanspace. This helped prevent any more moisture from coming in and causing further problems.
We also used a system called Waterguard to manage the drainage of water within the basement. This helped to keep the space dry and prevented any more water from seeping in. To improve the air quality and reduce humidity levels, we installed a device called Sanidry Sedona. This made the basement a healthier environment and helped prevent any more mold from growing.
Thanks to our hard work and careful attention to detail, the customer was extremely happy with the results. She could now use her basement for quilting without worrying about water or mold issues.
Water was leaking into the room through the cold joints and had nowhere to go except flow across the floor and try to get to the sump pump placed in her utility room. To solve this problem without damaging the customer's bathroom, we set up a 32-inch CleanSpace and a WaterGuard system. Additionally, we installed a new sump pump in the corner of her room to help redirect the water effectively.
The homeowner had a clay tile foundation that cause some water seepage from the walls. They also wanted to finish their basement. To solve this we used CleanSpace to cover the entire wall. This helps prevent water from seeping into the basement because it is a waterproof plastic material. We also installed a sump pump along with a battery backup pump. These pumps make sure that any water can be efficiently pumped out of the house which keeps the basement dry and protected.
This project consisted of multiple parts, including fixing a settlement issue that will be fixed in a few weeks. The homeowner also wanted to install water infiltration through the walls and improve the home's energy efficiency by adding insulation. We installed rim joist insulation to boost the energy efficiency in her home. We also implemented a vapor barrier to protect the walls from water and moisture, which gave our customer peace of mind.
Here is an example of older, non sealed sump pump system and its replacement with the triple safe system and a SaniDry dehumidification system. The older system had a smaller sump basket, and less inlets supplying water to one pump. The new system has a much larger sump basket, 3 pumps, and a state of the art battery back up system.
