Shirley expressed concerns about the continued movement and potential collapse of their basement wall, as they wished to continue utilizing the basement space. The high pressure exerted on the wall posed a risk of further outward displacement. To address this issue, we recommended the implementation of a CarbonArmor system, which would effectively stabilize the wall and preserve the integrity of the living area.

Geilesha K. was noticing some moisture in her recently purchased home in Des Moines, IA. After removing some of the drywall she discovered that the foundation was bowing in and crumbling. System Design Specialist Nicholas Hruska went out to Geilesha’s home. During the inspection, he was able to identify that two of the walls were crumbling and bowing several inches. The crew installed PowerBraces and a wall anchor system to permanently stabilize the foundation. Then applied ShotLock over the walls, making them look new again. Geilesha was extremely happy with how the walls looked when the project was finished and very happy with the efficiency of the crew.

The support beams in this basement were not installed properly and were not able to support the load causing the floors of the home to sag. After installing our Smart Jack System, the foundation of the home is now supported properly, and this customer can feel safe in their basement. 

Jennifer C. recently purchased a home in Leon, IA with plans to restore the house to increase its value. The home is over one-hundred years old, and the basement is experiencing extreme wall failure. System Design Specialist Tyler Dopheide arrived in Leon, IA and began inspecting the foundation of the home. For extreme wall failure, our team utilized the Shotlock Restoration System and PowerBrace Wall Support to prevent the walls from collapsing. Shotlock is combined with our GeoLock wall anchors in order to stabilize the failing foundation. The PowerBrace System is then installed to tighten and make the bowing walls sit more vertical without any external excavation. These two products paired together can stabilize even the most severe failing walls.

Jennifer was thrilled with the appearance of the basement walls and felt liberated knowing the foundation was secure. She now has the confidence needed to begin the remodeling process of her newly purchased home.
