Homeowner Keith wanted to find a solution to ensure that his home was safe and protected.  Since this customer has been happy with our work in the past, he chose Midwest to help secure this part of his home.

System Design Specialist Ryan Allen was able to come up with a permanent solution that fit the customers needs.  Since the wall was short, we installed Geolock anchors to secure the wall prevent the joints from getting worse.

Check out the before and after of this project! These homeowners were having complications with their walls falling in after extending their garage and putting on an addition. To help combat this issue and give it a permanent fix, we installed a full perimeter of Power Braces. These Power Braces are full height braces that help prevent any further movement in of the walls. This homeowner lives alone and rarely could get into her basement. She was worried that the walls would cave in between the times she could get down there. She knew of Thrashers reputation, and gave us a call. Kevin French came out to meet with her. After inspection her foundation, it was clear her walls were in very bad shape. Over time the soil around her foundation had shifted and allowed her walls to be less supported. Kevin proposed we use Power Braces to give that support back to the wall. Power Braces are one of our foundation repair products. They are floor to ceiling braces that are installed to the wall. With all of the dry weather the ground has released a lot of water and shriveled up.  During this process the soil will pull away from the foundation walls. This will allow movement and settlement of the basement foundation walls. This is an example of cracks in the wall and the wall is bowing. The wall can be braced and stabilized with bracing. In many cases the wall can be straightened back to plumb.
