This homeowner was dealing with a sunken garage slab, developed by voids and full of cracks. Thankfully, they turned to us once again, having experienced our exceptional service in the past and feeling comfortable entrusting us with their project.
To tackle the problem, our team used a combination of advanced techniques, including PolyLevel, NexusPro, and CompressionGuard. With our PolyLevel technology, we were able to lift and level the sunken slab, eliminating any dangerous voids. To ensure long-lasting durability, we utilized NexusPro, a superior joint sealant that seals cracks and prevents water from penetrating the slab. Finally, our installation of CompressionGuard will help to protect the slab against future settling.
Kyle kept tripping on his walkway and driveway. Plus running a snowplow over settled concrete was the worst. So he contacted Midwest and liked our solution. Todd King, our System Design Specialist, went out to Kyle's home to see how we could help.
A few of Kyle's slabs had a lot of voids underneath the concrete, which is what made them sink. His sidewalk was also experiencing settled slabs due to the soil around it.
To fix this, we used our Concrete Protection System 3. This involves lifting the areas that had fallen with PolyLevel, sealing all the joints and cracks with NexusPro, and then we applied SealantPro to the entire area to prolong the concrete's life and keep water and chemicals from penetrating the concrete.
Kyle was so happy with the final result and best of all, no more tripping hazards!
When we look at this before photo, we wince just imagining the fall a person could have if taking the wrong step on this walkway. After using our Polylevel foam to lift the sinking slab back to its original position, we can take a deep breath knowing our customer and their family are safe.
Our customer had tripping issues in his walkway. A few slabs were sinking down in the driveway and he also had a lot of voids under the concrete. He didn't want to let the problem get worse because he planned to live there for another 10-15 years. To fix this, we used the Polylevel to fill the voids under the concrete and lift it to its original position. We also sealed all of the joints and cracks to prevent issues like this in the future.
This homeowner was concerned about the tripping hazards she had on her front sidewalk. She already had her sidewalk mudjacked, however it was sinking again. She saw that we offered a different solution for concrete lifting, so she gave us a call. We sent System Design Specialist Cody Shipley to inspect where the mudjacking had gone wrong, and to determine where the crew should begin the concrete lifting. Cody explained to the homeowner that mudjacking did not work because it dries out, then will wash out just like soil does in the first place. Our team then went and injected PolyLevel foam under the concrete slab to lift and level the concrete. After this, the team used NexusPro joint sealant to seal the concrete's joints. The homeowner was very happy with how her concrete looks now. Check out her newly lifted and leveled concrete!
