This homeowner was concerned about doors not opening and closing properly and even had to replace a window because it wasn't working. When we performed a home inspection, we found mold and efflorescence on the walls, which is a huge sign there's water damage in the basement, and we also discovered the floors were sagging, which is a sign of structural damage. To address the water intrusion, we installed a full perimeter interior drainage track, a sump pump, and full height. And to address the structural damage, we installed smart jacks to stabilize and help bring the floor back up, and we also installed power braces to stabilize the basement walls.
This customer just moved into her home a year ago and gave us a call because she wanted to know all there is to know about waterproofing and what systems they currently had in place. While we were at her home we discovered there was a blockage in the discharge line to one of her pumps that a landscaping wall had crushed. In order to get the line to work we had to dig a new trench over the wall and replace the ice guard, the lawn scape discharge, and the drain line.
It was clear that there was no water protection barrier on the wall, which was causing problems for the customer. They had previously taken steps to waterproof the perimeter of the basement, but they hadn't done anything to address the issue of moisture on the walls. Their main goal was to make the basement more enjoyable by reducing moisture and preventing mold growth. They were also happy to hear that we offered a warranty that could be transferred if they ever decided to sell the house.
To effectively deal with the issue of wall moisture and integrate it with the existing waterproofing system, we installed CleanSpace all around the perimeter. This solution not only made the basement more enjoyable by reducing moisture levels but also fulfilled their desire for a transferable warranty for waterproofing the walls.
This customer wanted to keep his basement dry and get rid of his ugly water-stained walls. During our inspection of the basement, we also found some efflorescence forming. To fix these problems, we installed a WaterGuard, CleanSpace, a TripleSafe sump pump, and a SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier.
This homeowner wanted to prevent water from coming into his basement. He simply wanted to restore his peace of mind and ensure that he wouldn't have to keep cleaning up the water mess. He had used our services previously for foundation support, so he knew just who to call for his waterproofing needs.
We sent Service Technician Brandon Rost to inspect the possible sources of water and start to implement solutions custom to the homeowner's needs. Brandon found that water was getting in through the cracks in the basement walls, so he knew that a full perimeter waterproofing solution would be necessary and beneficial. Brandon and one of our installation teams used Full height CleanSpace Vapor Barrier and WaterGuard Interior Drainage System along with a Super Sump Pump to ensure that water was draining our of the basement and keeping the basement dry.
The homeowner was very happy with the work because it was fast, friendly, and done the right way. Check out this homeowner's new waterproofing systems!
