The space needed to be encapsulated to create an inorganic barrier between the outside elements and the crawl space. Drainage Matting was laid down, which features large, stiff dimples that create a gap. CleanSpace is laid on top of the Drainage Matting and attached to the walls. CleanSpace encapsulates the crawl space, and with the white coating, CleanSpace helps to brighten the area, making it ideal for storage. Finally, SprayFoam was installed around the rim joist and where necessary.
