A home in Middle River, MD was experiencing water seepage coming out of a few cracks in the basement wall. The basement had an existing sump pump but the water was still making its way on the floor. The previous system was not working as it should have so we provided a permanent solution. A SuperSump Pump System was installed by our foreman, Bernie. This system will effectively pump water out of the basement, keeping it dry and healthy all year long. Thanks to our System Design Specialist Jeff, the homeowner's peace of mind was restored.
Open sump pits are hazardous, unsightly and prone to clogging with debris. This customer was dealing with issues from their current sump system and was looking to upgrade. We recommended our Supersump Plus with the Zoeller M63 1/3 HP pump. This pump is housed in a durable plastic sump liner that includes an airtight lid, a pump stand to prevent silt and small objects from clogging the intake, and a waterwatch alarm to alert the homeowner if the water level rises above the point where the pump should turn on.
This customer reached out to Basement Systems USA to help replace his old rusty window wells that were currently pulling away from the homes foundation and had no drainage system or covers. We came out and replaced all 4 window wells with our Sunhouse enclosures, this includes Sunhouse wells and Sunhouse covers.
This basement in general was just a damp basement. The customer tried to correct the issue himself with purchasing 2 standard dehumidifiers but it just was not cutting it. We came out and installed BrightWall paneling which keeps water vapor and humidty from passing through your foundation walls all while giving your basement a bright clean look. We also installed a Sanidry Upright Dehumidifier which removes up to 109 liters of water per day, waterguard and a SuperSump Pump.
The crawl space in this Lancaster, PA, home was suffering from severe groundwater intrusion, even though it had been encapsulated before. The original barrier was failing, allowing water to seep through and create a damp, unprotected space. This made the crawl space vulnerable to potential mold growth, odors, and structural issues, and the homeowner was understandably concerned.
After a thorough evaluation, we installed our CleanSpace Crawl Space Encapsulation System, providing a robust moisture barrier and addressing the groundwater issue head-on. The new encapsulation system not only restored the crawl space to a dry, protected environment but also offered the homeowner peace of mind. Now, his Lancaster, PA, home has a durable solution that will keep the crawl space dry, effectively sealing out moisture and ensuring lasting protection against water intrusion.
