Customers standard Sump pump just could not keep up with the amount of water he was getting into his basement. We took care of this by installing an UltraSump Pump which will remove 12,000 gallons of water on a fully charged battery.
The customers original Egress window was not properly sealed and was allowing water to leak into the basement, we came out and replaced the old Egress Window, installed an Egress Rockwell Premier Cover, Well Duct and a Triple Safe Sump Pump.
This customer was having problems with standing water collecting in his crawlspace after heavy rains. We were able to transform this area using our Cleanspace vapor barrier which keeps out moisture and our SilverGlo insulated wall panels to provide insulation. We also installed a Smartsump system to remove water and prevent flooding and a Sedona dehumidifier, both of which are designed specifically for crawlspaces.
This Newtown Square PA home had a finished basement that was separated into rooms, one of these rooms, did not have any windows. Doing their research on windows for basements, lead them straight to Basement Systems USA.
The type of window chosen for this install is an Egress window. To be more specific for this install, the type of Egress installed is a 48x48 Large Slider Egress that is paired with a 60x66x60 Large Egress Rockwell and a Rockwell Cover.
Customer had plans to turn the basement into a Daycare, but before that could be done, the moisture collecting on the walls, had to be taken care of. We came out and installed a CleanSpace Vapor Barrier which will direct any water seepaing in through the walls, down to the drainage system. Not only does the vapor barrier direct moisture coming in from the outside, but is also a great way to prevent humidity in the basement.
